So all the 4LT trim level has this same problem, Shame on the General. Mine is so bad I cant see clearly over the dash.

Yep, they are telling me the same line of jive. I have the same set up as you and Im being told that they cant get the part. I will have to mention to them that the 09 will fit my car.

So this is a major issue with our 4LT upgrades. Mine is a 2008 and its so bad I cant drive the car due to visability.

need a heat shield

Guys it happened to me too. The heat from my kooks long tube headers caused my starter solenoid to melt. So now that's all fixed up, I dont want to go any further without installing a heat shield....

I have the 4LT in linen. IMO, i would rather spend the extra money at a custom shop for the simple fact that you would have more options to customize your vette.
