The date casting is very rough but looks like it could be K3059 which would be a Tonawanda casting and not be original to a Corvette.

I never worked on 2800's but I flew them for 2 years on the C-123. I went to school on and worked on 1820's and flew them on the HU-16 Albatross, S2 Tracker and T-28.
I had more malfunctions...
