Painting a translucent roof?

Has anyone had any experience painting a translucent roof panel. I have an opportunity to but a 2015 c7 coupe that only has the translucent roof. I hate them; here in the south they are just too hot....

Can anyone recommend an XPEL installer in the Raleigh, NC (and east of Raleigh). The Xpel website list two. Has anyone used either the two in that area.
