I had similar issue where I got nothing w/key sometimes. Turned out the ignition switch needed adjustment. It is located on column under dash.Works fine now

The unknown connector goes to the TPS Sensor "Throttle Position Sensor" which is missing.Mounts to those two holes on the side of the left injector set up. Just replace temp sensor w/OEM
