You can find these at any local hardware store. Question, where would the eyelet bolt to, on the alternator? ground?

Re: Switching Hoods on a '72? (FastET)

I put a L88 long hood on my 68 few years ago. As I recall, all the hardware fitted fine. As Tom73 mentioned, the hood won't match up at both rear corners, but some modification will make it work.

Re: '81 intermittent engine knock at idle (rhoeven)

Sounds like your heat riser valve! Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose feeds to the heat riser valve on the pass. side exhaust manifold to see if the noise goes away.

Re: Bellhousing for a 427 MT (Daniels)

I'm not sure about the other 2, but "403" is for 10.5" clutch.

You need either the #s: 621, 444 or 768 (I think) for 11' clutch.

There are few available on Ebay now (up to $85).

81 has oil temp sender and gauge option. You might want to look for this in the archive section! Someone had done it.

I'm not sure what type of ign coil you got. Is it HEI? Yes, sure you could temporary wire 12v on Run to the coil just to get you there.

Re: Wierd Temp Reading (Glutamine83)

What type of temp gun is it? How did it register the temp? (Direct contact?). The tem sender would be more accurate, because the water temp in the heads is where we wan to monitor.
