One of the reasons that the C4 ZR-1 has not done well with value is because of the mercury marine engine. Parts are very hard to find. Not that it matters but there were almost twice as many C4...

:iagree: Without heads and cam the C6Z doesn't stand a chance against a stock ZR1. Boltons wont do it. Also the ZR1 transmission has better gearing.

I would think it should be the other way around. Leave the rare ZR1 stock and race the not so rare C7 Z06 with sweet built in data recorders!

ZR1 638 HP @ 3,333 lbs = 0.1914 HP per pound
C7Z 650 HP @ 3,524 lbs = 0.1844 HP per pound

Thanks! I was just checking the market and there are several listed by dealerships around $70k, some even less of course they all have more miles. I am not going to let mine go for that cheap.
