Let's see, after market shifter would be a good clue. Not sure how often those are installed in automatics.

I have a 99, stock C5 with 74,000 miles. After I first got it several months ago, there was an issue with the cars gas cap so I picked a new one up at the dealer. It has seemed to work just fine....

Spark plug revised

On the driver's side do you need to remove that air diaphragm and hoses. Seems almost impossible to get to the plug underneath it and the last plug closest to the windshield.
