It sucks, but at least you caught it before something broke. My situation was similar... was going to put in a cam, checked the guides, heads needed to come off for repair.

Correct, that's what Ferrea tech support tells you if you call (85g). I'll see if I can weigh one myself, or if the shop has already assembled my heads.
