I like the idea of using power from the Wiper motor. My wiper motor has 3 wire connectors. There are two connections on the driver's side of the motor with multiple wires and one connector, a red...

My RPMs are through the roof without the electric choke for the street avenger connected. My Q-jet didn't have an electric choke so there is no readily available line for me to hook up to. Where...

Re: Getting those intake bolts off the stock intake manifold (mapman)

I got it out! GREAT! I just used a swivel attachment and it somehow gave me enough clearance. The bolts themselves were all in pretty good condition and easily unbolted. Now the next big problem is...

Now I can't get the intake manifold out. This thing is fused to its spot. I don't have a pry bar at hand but I did bang the crap out of it...

Re: Getting those intake bolts off the stock intake manifold (81' Corvette Guy)

GEN light has a slight glow. Under some rpms the GEN light brightens then fades.

I've just started driving the Vette at night and have noticed the GEN light has a very slight glow. Under some RPMs it will brighten then darken in a slow pulse fashion. During the day with the...

I've been needing the rear wheel bearings replaced and my alignment is out of whack due to the new smart struts, tie-rods, and tie-rod ends but I got everything as straight as possible without...

Re: Correct negative camber visible to the eye? (73 LS-4)

Damnnnn that's a nice Vette! Shouldn't be obvious...all right that statement works for me. So someone like myself should not be able to notice the negative camber unless I look real close. I...

Correct negative camber visible to the eye?

I've heard correct negative camber on a Vette is visible from the rear. My question...is the angle of the top of the wheel pointing in dramatic or just ever so slight but yet visible while looking...

Re: I need 2 new lower shock mounts, fast. (Bobchad)

Hmmm. Well its at the auto shop on base. The mechanics there said cutting them out would be easier. One particular mechanic who has had to do the same on his vette recommended it. Now the strut...

Re: I need 2 new lower shock mounts, fast. (Bobchad)

Re: High idle in park...sometimes 1.2K rpms, sometimes 2K rpms (Jvette73)

Heck thats quite a few things to check. I believe I was messing with something months ago when the problem came to pass. I guess I'll have to check each and everyone one of those areas listed.
