Fred - let us know if it gets any easier after re-routing the belts. You shouldn't need 2 hands to turn. 1.5 should do.

I had an issue where the tie rod was not installed correctly. The extra length of the bolts that snug down the ends was protruding forwards and contacting the control arm when the front end lowered...
