Why not just put the system back together as per factory specs and recharge it with 18 ozs of Duracool that is what I did and I can make ice in the vette. Works great

1st choice a rebuilt Q-jet. 2nd choice any other aftermarket 750. Don't make the same mistake a lot of Bubbas on this board make by over carburating the engine

You better find out why you are breaking the push-rods that should never happen. All push rods are made out of Hardened steel. They should also last the life of an engine.

When you install that blower the next thing that will happen is your old rotten engine will "blow" you can't just slap a blower on an engine must be engineered from the ground-up. You have been warned

Sounds like your old rotten engine has finally packed-it in. Best way to fix is pull the engine and get a pro to rebuild it or buy a new GM crate engine they have many types of engines to fit all...
