WD-40 in the QD fitting did it for me. Same with getting the fuel lines off and on the filter and manifold. Those plastic connectors are a biotch to use when dry. One shot and they behave.

I have both. Winter the clear top is great. Summer the painted top is king. Painted top looks better on a coupe. My real druther would be a real coupe with a powered moonroof.

In 1st and reverse the car is standing still. Check your clutch action. Is it releasing completely? Could be air in the master or slave cylinder?
I had a similar problem and it was caused by air...

The EBCM thing is overblown at best and...

I'm looking into wraps too. In the year or so I've been looking I've gotten estimates of $2K up to $7K. Paint from $8K to $15K. Post whatever you find.
