The info I could dig up indicated the 3858174 casting to be a correct 327 block for a 66 Vette. :steering: Different block # for late production. Didn't see any indication that the 3858174 casting...

Picked up a pair of 63 NOS rocker moldings still their orig. boxes for $100.00. Resold them on E-bay after not using them on my car at the time. Made a few dollars $$$ profit :)

Well the "Best" way is to drop the gas tank (can be photographed prior to any removal attempt) . The "Easiest" way would be to reach up over the gas tank and remove it, most likely piece by piece ....

Yup; It's what I use now. Goes on & off easy. Found that if you use a clean wash mit or soft cloth & water when it's time to remove it, it makes that part of the task even easier. :cool:

To prevent this :mad I most surely do! I took some rubber hose and zip tied it around the bottle. Now the fire extinguisher sits in the cargo area and never moves an inch :cool:
