I found that the ground point on my '09 Z06 was not really a ground point, so with a trusty Volt-Ohm meter I found a fastener that was ground and attached the M2W switch there.

It works great !

It may be way cheaper to get a Garmin or TomTom with the maps that try to get one for your Vette. I just used the SD card with UK & Ireland in my Garmin Nuvi and it worked really well.
