Those scratches that you are refurring to is...

Those scratches that you are refurring to is called crows feet or laquer checking. There is no way to really fix that by buffing. It is where the paint has shrunk over time creating the cracked look....

This is on my 69, 350, auto. One more note, headlights dont come on and the interior light goes out when you turn the key to start position. Thanks for any help.

I dropped a wrench down by the starter and it arched. Now it wont start. Any ideas? I wonder if it fried the starter soliniod?

I had mine done at Shelbyville Plating in Indiana as I live in Indy. They did a good job on the outside, but the backsides are not so good, peeling and rough. The price I thought was reasonable...
