Strongly Suggest you carefully measure piston to bore clearances on all eight ASAP before you proceed ... specs are in that L31 service manual I linked ... I'd like to KNOW as well.

21816 is Road Race (right-left & front-rear slosh) ... sump 7" deep but wider ... 1-1/4" more ground clearance than above drag...
