Money well spent. I went with nearly the same setup years ago (milled .030), and 20,000 miles later with track days there was no measurable guide wear when they tore it down and measured this April....

The main difference I have found going from 888s to 888Rs is the highway hum noise seems to have been reduced. I have not had a track day on the new Rs so I will refrain from judging grip until then.
