Monetarily speaking it makes more sense to keep the GS but I wouldn't be scared of a new 427 either. Worst case you have a problem with it and get a C7.

I've got to be honest, I don't believe those rockers are tightened down in that pic. If they were they would not be that far off center.

What Jeff said ^, John doesn't care for the classic and the tooling severely limits what can fit inside a classic, it's not the diameter on a C6Z it's the brakes.

What oil temps do these valve springs need before you can hammer on them? This is something thats crossed my mind a few times beacause the Z's oil cooling seems to work pretty well and if it's cool...

If these heads will cure all the valvetrain worries we have with the LS7 you guys will sell a lot of them. It would be nice to see a head built to satisfy the (small, maybe tiny) need for a "stock"...

This whole deal sucks some pretty mean donkey ass, to top it off I went ahead and pulled the plugs on my 07 w/36k and no unusual noises and a few plugs had oil on the threads, the worst was #2...

This actually gives me a whole new outlook on the valve issue. If something like deburring can get blown this far out of proportion on this forum then I'm sure something like dropped valves can get...

I don't think R6's will do you any good in an auto-x, especially a cold one. Even A6's can be hard to get up to temp in colder weather events since the vette is relatively light and fits such large...
