Finally got it done. Removed the cover, foam...

Finally got it done.

Removed the cover, foam AND springs. Then used a 2 pound sledge to beat the frame forward.

It worked and I have no damage to the frame.


Now to fix the water leaks so...

A dab of silicone caulk on the backsides on the areas where you don't have screws will help keep the trims from rattling around, moving, or coming loose....

Can't get in and out of the car. The side bolsters are too high.

The passenger seat in my 69 won't slide forward.

Anyone know how I can remove the seat, without access to the bolts?

Trying t pull them out and send them off to be recovered.

And if you use two and they're out of phase the output can be greatly reduced.
