PSC-1 supercharger belt slip

new 383 stroker LS1 with procharger psc1 original 3.85 pulley produced 6# boost at 6000 rpm.
changed to 3.6 pulley to increase boost but result was maximum 5# boost at 6000 rpm.
suspect now getting...

yes! boost leak.
Now with new 3.6 six rib pulley I get about 5# boost then no more. I think its slipping?

put car up on ramps,checking the hoses to intercoolers &found radiator on drivers side replaced at angle when new 383 stroker installed inwhich allowed the 3" hose to rub the tire & wore a silver...

At 5000 rpm up to 6000 rpm boost drops from 3#to 2# boost which now that we think about it could be a pressure leak boost/vacuum?

383 stroker psc1 boost problem

I had my 1999 ls1 built into 383 stroker forged rotate asmbly and comp cam, mapped, blue printed reduced to 9.5 comp/ratio for procharger
PSC-1 s/c setup originally for 7# boost on 38# injectors. ...

have 64000 miles on original clutch,pressure plate bearing etc.
will the ls-7 clutch fit?
have procharger s/c at 7.5lbs boost headers etc with about 600hp/torque.
would like to use aluminum...

had no problem until added headers and stage 2...

had no problem until added headers and stage 2 procharger upgrade, now runs great but engine light comes on with oil pressure low after warms up 10 to 16 psi at idle and 33 to 38 on reving engine....

99 c-5 hardtop 6spd at 29800 miles installed procharger s/c and FAST intake manifold. have 58500 miles on original clutch no problems yet.:iagree:
