Yup. I have a ZL1 now and poke my head in here every so often. The other thing people should realize is that a C6 with taller gears is going to dyno higher than the Camaro with it's 3.90 gears. ...

I run Amsoil Z-Rod oil because it does have a lot of extra zinc in it. Run the weight your builder recommends and builds the motor for.

My C6 still looked good after 2.5 years in AZ. Just don't use a foamy brush at the do it yourself car wash. It will leave brush marks in the wrap you can see up close under certain light.

Another thing to keep in mind with a manual trans ZL1 is that they can no lift shift. When you do that the bypass valve stays closed to preserve boost in the manifold during the shift.

You could always add meth injection for when you put regular pump gas in it. Although if it's going to be rare that you use pump gas I probably wouldn't bother.

I think STS kits are junk. Don't let my opinion of STS sway you away from rear mount though. I think they can work good with proper sized turbos. You would be better off having a shop fab a kit...

Catch can and meth/water injection would be my solution for a direct injected motor. Even on a non-boosted car you can set the meth up spray at WOT. Keep the intake valves nice and clean that way.

Is there a certain blower speed where you need to worry about doing this? I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of heat generated in a blower spinning faster than stock. Or are stock pulley...
