Yup that is correct. When you drag race a car with a wet sump car you can sometimes get a better time by draining out some oil so there is less resistance on the crank.

I don't understand how it costs GM so much money to do it and yet it is standard on the M3 M5 and M6 for many years now. Are all the BMWs gonna have faded yellow roofs in a few years?

My only complaints are the rear end (which I hate at first on the C5 as well) and the damn vents on top of the rear fenders by the B pillars. It looks like those rear vents might only be on the z51...

That front end is killer. It looks like GM has really looked at all the mods people have done to the C5s and C6 on this forum and incorporated it nicely into an original design.

I'm just saying it feels so much like my C5 in the way it drives and rides but it cant get out of its own way to save its life...also gets terrible gas mileage.
