I finally took the car in for its 1000 mile oil...

I finally took the car in for its 1000 mile oil change and had the dyno tune. They also replaced a bad O2 sensor.
So far I say it runs excellent. Downside is that they charged $983 for this service....

Just got slightly frustrated, overall so far so good. Alot of work goes into a rebuild and it appears they did a good job. The shop has a good rep in Central Fla. Anyhow, had the 500 mile oil change...

That is interesting. So have to heat up the HPS up to temp to get the performance. Maybe my expectations are wrong. It just makes me nervous coming down from speed and not getting that feel of bite.

Shocks

I run C6Z shocks on all 4 corners in combination with C5Z sway bars. Was a very popular mod back in the day and works well. Someone else can chime in here but I would do all 4 corners.

Ok, had discussion with the shop owner. Talked about going thru the engine and using LS3 connecting rods and forged pistons. We are talking around 6k using all the rest of the stuff on the engine....
