Did you ever find it??? My 1986 just came back from the shop. Receipt says "Replaced fusible link, $8.00".

The car would fire up on the cold-start injector then die as soon as I let go the key....

Feeling adventurous??? I switched to a 140 amp LT1 alternator on my '86. Had to use the LT1 bracket with some custom spacers, but worked out great! :D

86 Door/Cargo Lamps Won't Shut Off

1986 Convertible, manual trans. Plunger switches on door jambs seem to work OK, but door lamps and cargo area lamps won't time out. Battery runs down, of course. I know there's a timer for them...
