Thank you. This post saved me lots of money and headache. Disconnecting the negative terminal for a few minutes and then re-indexing the windows (with toe doors CLOSED) did the trick on my 2007 C6...

Run. There are many flawless C7 Z06’s to be had. Don’t monkey with that situation. Even if you can save a few bucks...not worth it in the long run. You can still find good-as-new C7 Z06 examples.

I asked my dealer about this situation, and they feigned complete ignorance. They don't want to acknowledge the issue. So, I ditched the OEM rims and went to Forgelines.
