If just ONE of the rear tires is toe-ed in 1/8" or more, the car will feel just as u describe. Also makes great fun when changing lanes and one rear tire crosses the stripe/reflector on the highway...

I put the Z06 trans (2.66 1st gear) into my built ZR1 last year, 60' dropped from 1.58 to 1.42 and the clutch was happier, but not for long:D 6th gear cruises at a much lower rpm now, and 5th/6th...

If u really want more power than u can use, do what I did.....heads, cam, pulleys, heat exchanger, 20lb ice box with sump pump, and 150 shot of n20, but be warned the clutch is NOT up to the task....

My Z06's are auto, the ZR1 will experiment with the auto (still a stick now), but not in the car for keeps.....and yes, anti-lag and electronics with convertors fix lag:cool:

n2o is the way to go, besides, what i have now make the 1st 4 gears useless on the street.....even 3rd is real "iffy" with drag radials. But we have to engineer and inovate, a wet shot through that...

Whats even worse is even if they get it, some just don't care. They would do it because they drive a sentra and it's somehow your fault. It's usually a "goverment dependant"......
