It is much better to tie to the frame and cinch down on the suspension. If you just tie the wheels or axle down then the suspension flops around on every bump.

C4s have to eyes used for tying...

I replaced the pins and it didn't fix my problem. It turned out that the metal in the housings was wollowed out. I am currently awaiting the housings to redo the column again.
