The guy went to the parts dept and asking for oil for a Z06 and the parts guy gave him the oil for prior to 2009. He changed the oil and didn't bother to check the dip stick or he would have caught...

Don't start it again until the oil is drained and properly filled. Then if it runs ok you're probably good to go. Make sure nothing fell into the valves when the moron removed the cover.

And there's no guarantee that we will see a Z06 or ZR1. Maybe they will do something different or nothing if C7 doesn't sell. I just don't see it selling well in this economy.
