I think the HP number would have been okay if the car would have came in under or about at 3000 lbs. Since its heavier and little hp increase I can see why people are upset.

Last time I checked GT3s are going up in value and the 997s have held there value really well. The 996 is another story that was an abortion.

Looks like Chevy got lazy and rehashed the C 4 interior. Was great in 1990, should have left it there.

Philip g you make a good point. I bought my 997 in 09 for 37, sold it in late 10 for 38. A lot of people thought the 997 was going to depreciate since the 991 came out. Actually the opposite...

Have a 1996 Blue and White GTS since 1999. Love the car just want something I can use everyday. Plus in Miami the humidity and heat practically make the Viper unusable whenever you leave the car...
