I had the same problem with my 1995. It was a hairline crack in the insulator part of spark plug number one. I put a new plug in and it ran like new.

Re: What is the best front end bra for the 1995 C4? (Bluewasp)

Bluewasp:

My front end was painted in October 2002, so I believe the paint has had a chance to harden up by now.

What brand was your bra?

What is the best front end bra for the 1995 C4? (hit a deer)

I am going on a road trip and want to protect my new paint job on the front end. (Repaint was required after hitting a deer)

Once they are installed, is it easier to remove them and reinstall...

How do you break in a new clutch/pressure plate and flywheel?

I am having a new stock GM clutch, pressure plate and flywheel installed in my 95 LT1 today. (My original clutch had 98K miles on it.)

Is there a break-in period or are there any special driving...

Re: B&B Tri Flows too loud at Cruise (FinnMcCool)

I think that you would be happy with the LeMuke stock muffler mod. I devised and did the mod on my car. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I almost wonder if I stumbled on a noise...

Re: How often for tuneup on 95 LT1? (WhiteHorse)

I replaced my Delco Platinums at 90,000 miles. The gaps had burned open to .066". I would definitely at least take them out and regap them before 90,000 miles. Since it is so time consuming to...

Re: Do you open the doors when you jack up the car? (Curtis629)

I jack with the doors closed and the top on.

The body is torsionally much stiffer with the doors closed and the top on.

The load under a jack may be only 1000 to 2000 pounds and it is applied...

Re: Santa just brought me my first Vette. Now What? (BlackC4Jack)

Welcome to the forum. I'll never forget my excitement when I first got my Vette 1.5 years ago. I felt so much like a novice/beginner, that I was almost too shy to wave to other Vettes passing me on...

Re: Does any one run 40 profile tires? (LTDan73)

You're right. They are 40's... I knew that. Must have been a senior moment.

Same question anyway, hypothetically.

Do you know Robert Schuller? :bb :bb :bb

Does any one run 40 profile tires?

I am contemplating changing the stock 3.45:1 or 3.54:1 gears (not sure which ones I have) to a 4.10:1.

Has anyone who has done this notice a significant increase in acceleration around town at...

Re: Can your AC make your car faster? (Aman)

I had heard that the AC robs you of 25 HP. I believe it too. Have you noticed the significant drop in rpm when the compressor is turned on? I doubt it would be so noticeable if it was only 5 HP. ...

Re: where is my fuel filter at on my car? (C4Fetish)

I bought the tubing wrench at Sears.

It is 5/8" at one end of the wrench and 11/16" at the other end.

Good luck! :)

Re: where is my fuel filter at on my car? (C4Fetish)

It is recommended that you use a tubing wrench rather than regular end wrenches. Using the tubing wrench, you will get a better bite on the compression nuts on the fittings and not bugger them up by...

May I ask a followup-question?

Re: Too big of a Spark Plug Gap? (TIMSPEED)
