I hope that you have already solved your problem, but, just in case: on my 87 if I put my key in the ignition ans turn it on and hold it will reset my security. Regards, Jim

Pre aluminum engine components I used to feel good about the elbow torque wrench,but, now a torque wrench and the correct specs are essential. I do miss the Georgia method however! :cheers:

Mike, I was able to do this on my 87 in less than 30 minutes per side. I disconnected neg post of battery and let the door panel hang down out of the way. Relax the tension on the glass to let it go...

Joe, I have not seen any vaporlock problems on my 87. Have you changed your fuel filter? I think the only way to check out the fuel pump is to put a gauge on the valve and read the pressure. Haynes...

Mike, Thought you might like to know that I put Mobile 1 in my 87 with 72K miles. I have been through 3 changes at 3K miles each with no problems with leaks or usage.

Logans 90 blows cold air on his feet, with the vette running he pulls and replaces the AC fuse in the fuse panel. While the fuse is out the AC stops. when the fuse is replaced the cold air blows out...

My friend has joined the C4 ranks with a very nice 90 coupe. When he starts it up the ac is working,but, is only blowing on the drivers feet. If he pulls the fuse(which is not blown} and replugs it...
