the battery, alternator and voltage vegulator are all good. no interior lights stay on. im going to start pulling seat fuses 1 at a time then move to the radio.

C4 1989 auto-trans will not shift into 3,4,or overdrive

2 months back I noticed that shifting into 3rd and 4th was getting sluggish.
Now 1st and second shift perfectly 3rd it just high revs. Reverse works also.

Wanted : white molded protection strip for 89 Coupe

:cool:These bolt on molded strips go around the whole 89 coupe, mine are black and in good shape. would like to buy or trade for White strips. these are not painted white they are made white....

Then I noticed the C-4 was roomier, then knowing the first of any new generation of any vettes...

I have had 2 Maf taken out, to see if it is the MAF unplug it...

I finally finished putting it all back together, stock gears are metal and the lifters are hydraulic rollers.
The chain had stretched so it no longer fit deep into the gears. I probably could...

What is the backspacing or offset on 1989 sawtooth wheels 17"X9.5"

I need to know what that measurement is and also the bolt pattern distance. looking at Foose wheels - nitrous and legend style.

Battery went to dead short possible, this has happened 3 times to me so I SWITCHED OVER TO A Optimum Battery because corvettes ride rough and the batteries life is short.
