Re: Right headlight does not open. What do I do now? (Enad)

Enad,
It sounds like you and I have the same problem. The relays seem ok. I checked the hoses connections to the relays. They were fine. When I pulled the over ride switch beneath the dash only one...

Re: Right headlight does not open. What do I do now? (Tim80)

I don't want to sound like a dolt. But where is the relay located? How would I test it? The vacuum hoses sucked air when I unplugged them to check them.

Tim

Right headlight does not open. What do I do now?

My right headlight will not open when I turn the lights on. If I open it manually it will close when I turn the lights off. I looked at the vacuum hoses. They seem ok. Does this mean the actuator is...

Re: Going to look at a '81 in a few with my Sister-in-Law. Any tips? (SanDiegoPaul)

Not this one. It was too far gone. I have seen a couple in the last few months in the 6k to 8k range that were pretty nice. If she's serious about it I'm sure another one will pop up. You can always...

Re: Going to look at a '81 in a few with my Sister-in-Law. Any tips? (Tim80)

Well, we went and looked at the car. There was obvious signs that it had front end damage repaired. There was overspray on the weather stripping. It was obvious the interior had been redyed. The...

My Sister-in-Law is wanting to surprise my brother with a nice C3. Anything in particular we need to look for? I know to look for bad wiring, rust in the frame and radiator supports. Any help is...

Re: Anybody interested in a Misfits License Plate (Tim80)

A frame would be cool. I had originaly thought about a plate. But not everyone owns a second car or vette that accomodates a front plate. Maybe a frame would be better. Opinions?

Re: Anybody interested in a Misfits License Plate (Wolf1171)

Anybody interested in a Misfits License Plate

I mentioned this to Ken (My95). He said he'd be glad to research it if there was interest. Maybe any profit can go to the brick fund. The logo on the T-shirts would look pretty cool.
