Exactly right. That $25k is a place to start only. I'll entertain just about any reasonable offer at this point.

FS: 1979 White / Red Interior resto-mod

I purchased this vehicle in August of 2001 and started a full frame-off resto-mod. The list of goodies I upgraded or replaced is pretty extensive and is pretty much complete on my web page.

Anyone have pictures from the event? Last year they were posted on CFCC's web site. I'd like to see the turnout.

The way I went about finding it was to install an ammeter in-line with the negative battery cable. I...

We do turbine engine repair and overhaul in Greer. It's only about 2-1/2 to 3 hours to Atlanta from here. Driving year-round is certainly not a problem. The summers aren't too bad (not like Florida)...

Is this run open for all? I've been up and down those roads on my bike a hundred times, but haven't had a chance to take the 'vette. I would agree with 215 up to the Parkway, nice and twisty. The...

That's nothing, some friends of mine called the local AutoZone asking for a flux capacitor for an '85 DeLorean. Again, they proceeded to look it up!

Re: (OT)What's the downside to using Rain-X on your windshield?

I plan on using it on the 'vette once I start driving it regularly. It should work great. I tried it on my Jeep Wrangler and it didn't work so well.

You see, the Jeep's windshield is so flat and...

Re: Starting new engine with body off (73Gator)

Keep an eye on...

Re: Anyone use "Speed Bleeder" screws yet? (73jst4fun)

I have them in all 6 places on the 'vette and three on my bike. It really makes fluid changes go smoothly, just hook a hose and bottle up and start pumping, or squeezing, whichever the case may be.

Re: '79 ALARM (BacaBill)

The '79 system is pretty simple, I just got through troubleshooting mine (without power locks). If the horn is honking, then one of the 5 triggers is tripped. The easy ones to rule out are the door...

Re: edelbrock carb metering rods and springs question (78pace)

Edelbrock's web site has a great deal of information. The 1400 has no calibration kit put together for it since it is an emissions-rated carb. I'm running one on mine with a 270 Magnum cam and am...
