I always sort of regret not using the money I spent doing the cam, headers, porting, exhaust etc on a supercharger. Would of had a faster car for the same money if not less...

Sorry, I was just referring to my own situation. All I did was swap my non-Bose head unit with a Kenwood ddx470. The stock head unit, for whatever reason, was much more powerful.

But why would a simple head unit swap make the sound quality worse? Does the stock head unit have a built in power source? I don't want the extra weight of a sub and amp.

19" wheels just aren't a good choice at 580rwhp. My 17" Mickey Thompson ET Streets hook great on the street at 500rwhp with 4.10 gears...in 1st gear! :rock:

Did you install headers? They usually sit within about an inch of the starter and get very hot. I had to install a heat shield around my starter.
