The stock injector size in 1985 models are 24 LB. I believe you can swap to the larger ls1 injectors if you like. try doing a forum search, it's probably been done before. :cheers:

i had mine replaced for (installed) 180 bucks. you might want to call the glass company you plan on using and see if they can get you a used piece, they are much cheaper.

i changed the pan seal on my 85 to the blue felpro one. that was not an easy job. its doable, but i hope you have patience :D i did not raise the engine, i actually did it when i had the trans out....

if you plan on using a roller cam, you will have to use the retrofit roller lifters. unless you can machine the block to take the lifter retainer(forget what its called) from your 90-91 motor.

Just for info..24# injectors came stock on 85 models. also, i had a fuel problem before also, i bought a replacement ac delco pump (pep boys) put it on and had the same problems...not enough fuel....
