My dad picked up a 01 vert and did not get the key with the car. Just for kicks tried the one from my 96 and it was a match. Should have got a loto ticket instead. :woohoo:

Nitrous works on most anything and it is cheap. Only problem is the bottles run out and if you over do it the engine won't last.

One other tip I have learned is after buffing a car is to finish it off with a DA sander with a buffing pad that fits the sander. Gets rid of swirls left from larger buffers easily.

On the thermostat neck there is a brass fitting. Start the car with the radiator cap off . Top off the water and then rev the engine a little while loosening the screw with a wide common screwdriver....

Why don't you change the head gaskets? If you are going to change the motor pull yours out and change all seals and gaskets. You can have yours clean and sealed up for less than the price of a motor....
