THE OTHER DAY I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY X-MISSION...IT REFUSED TO SHIFT. I STILL HAD 1ST AND 2ND. BUT 3RD GEAR IS NO MORE. I MIGHT MENTION THAT I HADNT PUT FLUID IN IT IN ALMOST A YEAR

I parked my '84 in the garage to do some long needed work. It hasn't been started in two weeks. Yesterday, there was a large puddle of trans fluid beneath it...and it wasn't there the day before....

Motor won't turn over...

She (84 cpe) was fine last night when I got home. 8 hrs later, I turn the key, and nothing. Battery has a full charge, starter/solenoid is in good shape. Everything seems normal...Tried to jump start...
