Does anyone know if a 82 support core will work on a 79. I know that some parts from 68 thru 82 body style are interchangeable and others aren't im hoping this is a interchangeable one its at a nice...

my 79 does but never seen it light up...then...

my 79 does but never seen it light up...then agian the gauge is a little whacked too...it never drops below a 1/4 of a tank... I think i have either a ground issue or a sending unit issue...

speedo cable

Is there anyway to make or find a heat shield for the speedometer cable. I have one on my 79 that is really close to exghuast and has really paid it's toll...it still works but I'm going to replace...

Ha ha... ya I meant that the tire being bolted on...

Ha ha... ya I meant that the tire being bolted on held everything together. The front ones must have gotten replaced cuz that's exactly how they are...the back still look to be riveted or some type...
