mine is a 20 footer for sure, lots of defects in its 40 year old paint but it looks good in the evening or cloudy days, direct sunlight really shows the blemishes.
I am tempted to repaint but enjoy...

This is for my 73 from Corvette America, the foam doesn't seem to have the same indentations, covers were a tight fit

mine was screeching in the same manner, pulled it apart and it was the brass pilot bushing spinning in the flywheel (was a press fit when i installed it) I have had nothing but troubles with my Hays...

Thanks for all the great info!, something else i found when installing the HEI was it seems to work better with a ground run from frame, even though i have the engine ground strap frame to engine.

I had to change some seals and gaskets while mine...

I had to change some seals and gaskets while mine was out so with the side cover off i just sprayed a few cans of brake clean through it..then oiled things up with 75W90 and reassembled...

make sure to check the date stamp on the new tires in case they are NOS (New Old Stock) i bought some BFG's when i was restoring my car and didn't know about the date stamp at the time...turns out...

Was yours an L82? I believe they used some of the beefier parts and 21/2 " exhaust from the 454
Mine was a 350 L82 and has the strap style caps on yokes and driveshaft
