Okay. Ignition turned to Start and everything...

Okay.
Ignition turned to Start and everything springs to life electrically.
Test light on each side of Clutch Safety Switch harness at the switch, separately shows no power.
Guess I'm chasing...

'71 Ignition/Starter gremlins

The 71 is giving me a fit.
Long story short, no keyed-power to (original #) starter motor.
Replaced original Solenoid.
Replaced ignition switch. Fun!
Bench tested starter and checked out ok. ...

That's next.
Its on top of the tilt/tele column and requires following Jim Shea's advise about lowering/supporting it to keep undue load off the lower bearing, and then there's the rod adjustment....
