C7 overheating--How to get the fan to run

My C7 was stuck in stop and go traffic for 2 hours. Temp gauge went up to 240. I pulled over but the fan shut off shortly after the engine was shut off. Is there a way to make the fan keep running...

Has anyone tried to R&R the factory cleartastic in front of the rear wheels?

My car now has 25k on it and the cleartastic or expel plastic is getting kind of beat.

I have the same thing happenb when i get a phone call. WAZE and the phone both compete for attention thru the car speakers. Probably a phone software thing.

If the speaker were mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment, would you be able to hear it inside the car?
