Corvette Expansion Tank, With Small Block, 1968-1972 ??

Thanks again for the replies. My car does have a/c and does not have a overflow bottle. It also has the fill cap on the radiator.
Now I know what an expansion tank is.

Thanks! Yes, I am looking to use it for an overflow tank.
Right now the small hose comes out of the top and runs along the radiator.
I looked in my manual where it is supposed to go and there...

Will a expansion tank work with my '72 with a/c. It looks like an a/c hard line would be in the way of the mounting bracket.

I think I will take their warning seriously and install my old exhaust until the motor is properly broken in. No sense in ruining the coating.
