On my 93 the (rear brakes) Emergency brake is only mechanical, no fluid needed to apply it.
I had the same issue with bad brakes as you. My ABS unit...

In my 93 there is a line from the master cylinder to the ABS unit behind the drivers seat. The ABS unit has a bleeder valve on it's side. I used a Mity-Vac pump to bleed that line out.

When you bleed the brakes don't forget the ABS unit behind the drivers seat. It has a line that comes from the master cylinder reservoir. The manual says to put a pressure pot on the master cylinder...
