Re: future buyers (larryfs)

STOCK!! When you add mod's you drastically reduce the resale value of the car. I'll be buying in August and I won't even consider a modded car. The only mod's that I will add are those that can be...

Re: About to change plugs and wires! (Lone Ranger)

I've changed the plugs on two C4's. It's not too bad. It seems to take a different socket or wrench for each plug and also a different angle of attack.
It does take an hour or two. The wires are...

Re: C4's-better in person or in pictures vs. C5's? (_freakmonkeydogboy_)

:iagree: I like the C4's appearance better but I must admit I like the ride of the C5 better. I've had both and I am now in the market for a C4 coupe.

Re: Anyone driven deep into Mexico in their Corvette? (Lone Ranger)

You sound pompous and egotistical to me with your put-downs. Maybe you're not, but you sound like you are.
Welcome to the forum

Looks like you're off to a great start.

Re: Where would these mount?? (shansen)

In all seriousness, I can see where these would be useful to a person that was restoring a 50's era car

Re: help and pointers on buying a C4 (superbowtie)

Yes, Z51's do ride rougher. I had a 96 with Z51 and I won't have it on my next car. Just my personal opinion. Others might like it.

Re: Is It A Buyer's Market? (Jbaker)

I know what you mean about the "sight unseen" bit. I bought my last vette from a dealer in Florida. It was a 96 Collector LT4 with 11k miles. I bought it sight unseen, except for lots of photo's. ...

Re: Is It A Buyer's Market? (96 Collector Edition)

Is the buyer's market due to (1) the poor overall economy, or (2) is it due to a lot of C4's on the market and a lack of interest in them, versus the C5's? Is it a buyer's market for any vettes or...
