What kind of brake upgrade am I looking at? If my chrome sawblades are not factory then maybe a 13 inch rotor upgrade may fit.

Could it be 17x8.5 vs 17X9.5 sawblades? Anybody have any idea? I'd like to go to C5 brakes but really like my 9.5" chrome sawblades.

:iagree: I live a 5300'. You can't get 97 oct as they sell 96 as regular. My 91 L98 runs with narry a ping on regular 96 at this altitude. I wouldn't try it at lower altitudes though.

A couple of things no one mentioned was perhaps your air filter plugged up for some reason making the engine would starve out. As you had the heads off there could be a problem with the TPS...

Muffler eliminators

Bought some muffler eliminators from Mid America. Beautiful and sounded great. Got irritating thought on long trips. Sad but true the engine started running rich and barely passed the emission...

My Antennae Fix

For simply $10 I bought a black generic antennae and cut it down to 8 inches. Everything works great and I think it looks good.;)

What's your compression ratio and at what altitude are you driving. Consider the basics. :crazy: Even though I put 91 octane in my C4 I'm sure I could get by with 87 or 86 which is sold here at...

Inflatable Restraint Lamp

My Inflatable Restraint Lamp blinks only once after engine is started. Do I have a problem? The service manual indicates it should blink 5 to 7 times in the start up sequence. :rolleyes:

Guess Your Right

Based on what your saying I guess my ABS Lateral sensor was working properly. I was in a hard turn with the rear end loose with light brake pressure. Thanks!!:flag:

I was led to believe the lateral acceleration sensor was for disabling the ABS system on hard turns. I was making a hard turn and in the middle hit the brakes. The steering wheel was nearly jerked...
