Nope, It is a Cassette unit but has the cd controls. You MUST have the cd changer in the trunk for this to work CDs

2000 C5 CD Cassette head Unit

I have a bose head unit from a 2000 corvette coupe with a cassette and the controls for the in the trunk CD changer. It is in great shape and only needs a volume knob which I lost along the way...
