front suspension adjustment

i have installed the lower/upper control arms on my frame with new balljoints and used the same shims on the upper controlarm

but looking at both sides i notice a difference in angle .. no idea...

sounds like you are experienced enough to do without books... but you might consider getting the GM assembly instruction manual and GM model year shop manual on ebay ( saving yourself some $)

you might be surprised how bad ( much bigger hole and very thin metal)things can look after sandblasting, the rust probably have started to eat away the metal inside that pillar too, i wouldn't go...

ok guys.. i am convinced i better redo it......although i have compresed it as hard as i could....made a kind of flaring tool and also tried a bench-vice......maybe it is now a good reason to change...
