I see this thread started 10 years ago.

However I am having the same issue on my 2006 Z06. I have not gone out to the garage to check the alternator plug yet, but I'll check it out soon.

Probably not enough volume of air in the brake reservoir itself. You would probably need to pump up to pressure a lot during bleeding. Don't know, just a guess on my part.
