I noticed on pulling the old one off; I had some corrosion on both the threads and shaft... I guess some coolant/water had seeped in through the gasket?

Bolted new WP to block, dissect old, then FML

- Spent at least 90 minutes cleaning the block mating surfaces to perfection.

- Wire brushed the bolts and bolt holes so the threadlocker red would adhere well.
